Amy Williams

Administrative Assistant, Center for STEM Education

Amy serves the Institute for Educational Initiatives as the Administrative Assistant working with the Center for STEM Education, where she provides organizational and logistical support to help its programs thrive. She brings years of experience in education and a deep commitment to supporting teachers and schools.

Amy began her career teaching elementary school in an urban district, laying the foundation for what would become a diverse and impactful career in public education. She spent the majority of her professional life in a rural school district, serving in roles such as instructional coach, curriculum director, elementary school principal, and director of state and federal programs. These experiences have shaped her understanding of the challenges and opportunities within K–12 education and deepened her belief in the power of strong, supportive systems.

Now in her role with IEI, Amy continues her lifelong dedication to education—working behind the scenes to ensure STEM educators are equipped to grow and lead.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, drinking good coffee, doting on her dogs, and getting lost in her ever-growing stack of books.
