Karen Morris

Biography

Karen Morris is dedicated to preparing the next generation of college-ready students by empowering the educators and schools that guide them. As Program Director for the Notre Dame Partnership with Advanced Coursework Teachers team (formerly AP-TIP) within Notre Dame’s Center for STEM Education, Karen works behind the scenes to build and strengthen high-impact science, math, and English pathways.

Karen has been at Notre Dame since 1987, initially supporting first-year college students in the Department of Chemistry. Building on that foundation, she transitioned in 2012 to leading the PACT team (formerly AP-TIP), expanding her focus to pre-college environments. To date, Karen has partnered with more than 120 Indiana public and U.S. Catholic high schools, equipping administrators and teachers with the strategies needed to expand and sustain challenging AP and Dual Credit math, science, and English courses.

A long-standing advocate for STEM education, Karen maintains active professional connections across the state and nationally, including memberships in the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) and the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers.
