Computer Science Specialist, AP-TIP
Joe Kintzel serves as the Computer Science Specialist for the AP Teacher Investment Program, a program contained within the Institute for Educational Initiatives at the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Kintzel received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Purdue University in 1994. From 1994 to 2016 he taught middle/high school mathematics and computer science. During this period, he was awarded a M.Ed. from the University of Illinois (2002). In 2016, Joe accepted a position as a Lecturer in the Computer & Information Technology department within the Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University where he currently teaches software development, cybersecurity, and mathematics. In 2019 Joe Kintzel was awarded a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the Harvard Extension School, where he studied software development and data science.
